The Pegasus planner was bundled and shipped earlier as the GriPhyN Virtual Data System (VDS). If you are using VDS version 1.4.x please update it to the latest version of Pegasus

These RPM packages should work on RHEL5 as well as recent FEDORA Cores. If you want to rebuild an rpm for your Redhat/Fedora arch you can download the source rpm and do The rpms depend on openjdk-1.6, openjdk-1.6-devel , gcc, ant, ant-apache-regex modules. Pegasus will be installed in /opt/pegasus-<version>. You can relocate it when installing the rpms by giving it a --prefix flag. |

necessary Pegasus components is the GriPhyN/iVDGL Virtual
Data Toolkit (VDT)
Pegasus 2.1 is avaiable in VDT 1.8 and higher.
